Worn Wear Outtake: A Brave New Fleece
Directed by Keith and Lauren Malloy
Music by Terry Coffield

Worn Wear is an exploration of quality — in the things we own and the lives we live. In this outtake from the full film, Nick Yardley talks about leaving his native Yorkshire, England; arriving wide-eyed in New England; and spending his first paycheck on a purple Patagonia® fleece.

I really love this mentality and I feel like we have strayed away from it as a society. I’m glad to see a company keeping it going.

Alex Johnson on the Ninth V6, Bishop, California

After having done many other highballs preceding and following The Ninth, I have officially dubbed it My Scariest Boulder Problem (so far). My superspotter Kenny Barker, winner of the 2008 and 2011 World’s Best Spotter Award, whole-heartedly agrees with me. “It was the scariest thing I’ve ever spotted; I never want to spot that problem again,” Mr. Barker exclaimed.
